1. General Provisions

• These Terms govern the use of carfixlab.com/ and all its services.
• Carfixlab only provides technical tools (software and platform capabilities).
• The user is solely responsible for all content they submit (articles, questions, answers, modules, plugins, files, comments and any other information).
• Carfixlab only provides tools; how they are used is entirely at the user’s discretion and responsibility.

2. Provided Services

• Automotive news – information about the automotive industry and technologies.
• Blog – users may write and share articles.
• Q&A Service – users may ask questions, receive answers and leave comments.
• Carfixlab Editor – a professional chip-tuning editor with the following features:
  • Viewing and editing ECU files,
  • Standard modules created by Carfixlab present maps in a simple and clear way,
  • Editing maps is at the user’s discretion, and the user assumes full responsibility,
  • Plugins are created only by users, and each author is solely responsible for their content,
  • Plugins may be sold or shared through the Marketplace,
  • Carfixlab is not responsible for plugins sold or shared outside the Marketplace.

3. User Content and Responsibility

• Users are solely responsible for any content they create or upload (articles, questions, answers, modules, plugins, files, comments).
• Carfixlab is not responsible for the content’s legality, accuracy or consequences.
• Users assume full liability before third parties for all submitted information.

4. Copyright and Third-Party Claims

• Users confirm they have legal rights to the content they upload.
• Carfixlab does not claim copyright over user content.
• If a valid complaint is submitted by an intellectual property owner, Carfixlab may remove the content.
• Carfixlab has no obligation to pre-moderate or restrict content; responsibility lies with the user.

5. Carfixlab Editor – Special Terms

• Standard modules – created by Carfixlab, present maps clearly and simply, contain no unlawful automated solutions.
• Plugins – created only by users, their content and consequences are solely the author’s responsibility. Carfixlab does not moderate plugins and is not responsible for illegal use.
• Plugins outside the Marketplace – Carfixlab has no responsibility for plugins sold or shared outside the Marketplace.
• Usage purpose – Carfixlab Editor, modules and plugins are intended only for motorsport, off-road, laboratory, educational or personal use. Road use is strictly prohibited.

6. User Rules and Notices

Users are prohibited from:

• Uploading illegal content, copyright-infringing material or pirated software,
• Distributing modifications that violate laws (e.g. disabling emission systems or safety systems),
• Sharing or selling chip-tuned files to third parties.

All modifications must be for personal, educational or off-road/motorsport purposes only. Users violating these rules bear full responsibility for any legal consequences.

7. Limitation of Liability

Carfixlab is not liable for:

• Accuracy of user content,
• Consequences of misuse,
• Legal claims by automotive manufacturers,
• Technical issues or damages.

All services are provided “AS IS”, without warranties. Users assume all risks and consequences when using Carfixlab services.

8. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold Carfixlab harmless from any claims, damages, fines or costs arising from their use of Carfixlab Editor or services.

9. Governing Law

carfixlab.com/ operates under the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
All disputes are subject to resolution under Uzbekistan law.

10. Acceptance

By using Carfixlab services, users fully accept these Terms and assume all responsibility.
